Garner Ross
Head of Special Events

Garner, born and raised in Montreal, is in his 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University. This will be his 10th summer at camp. He was Co-Head of B Boys two years ago, and was Head of Senior Men last year. As a former staff member of the year, he cannot wait to make memories with the campers and make special events that much better!

Paige Edelstein
Programming Supervisor

Paige is super excited to return to CBB for her 11th summer! She lives in Montreal and is currently studying marketing at McGill University. Paige’s favourite activities include World Cup, pickleball and dance. Paige cannot wait to come back to her favourite place and help create the most amazing programs for everyone!

UNIT HEADS

Jill Dorsey
Head of Juniors

Jill is beyond excited for her 3rd summer at CBB! Jill grew up in Montreal, Quebec and is currently living in Ottawa pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at Carleton University. Some of Jill’s favourite activities in camp are dance, general swim and Israeli dancing! Jill is looking forward to bonding with her campers and having the best summer ever!!

Mattie Cuckier
Head of A Girls

Mattie can’t wait to get back to her 3rd summer at CBB! After 2 years of being a staff on Juniors and A Girls, she is thrilled to be in charge of her favourite unit at camp! Mattie was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Carleton University in Ottawa. She is pumped for summer 2024!

Izzy Taite
Head of A Boys

Isabella, better known as Izzy, is super excited to return to CBB for an A-mazing 8th summer as Head of A Boys! Born and raised in Montreal, Izzy is currently living in Boston finishing her sophomore year of her Contemporary Writing & Production Degree at Berklee College of Music. She is beyond eager to get back to River Road for a fun and wild summer with the A Boys!

Avery Tattum
Head of B Girls

Avery grew up in Toronto, and is half way through her Undergrad at Western University. After having three amazing summers as a ski staff, Avery can’t wait to return to her favourite place to get to know each and every B Girl, and help make their summer as magical as possible!

Jasper Cogan
Head of B Boys

Jasper is from Ottawa, but is currently in Montreal studying Business Management and Real Estate at Concordia University. This will be Jasper’s 10th summer at camp, and his favourite camp activities include hockey, football and surfing. Jasper is excited to help guide the B Boys throughout the summer, hoping to make sure they have their best summer yet!

Alex Sheppard
Head of Senior Girls

Alex, better known as Sheppy, is super excited to return to CBB for her 11th summer! Sheppy lives in Montreal and is entering her final year in a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at McGill University. Sheppy is so excited to hang out with the Senior Girls all day and be back in her home away from home!

Thomas Poynor
Head of Senior Boys

Thomas is super excited for this summer at CBB, and is looking forward to being part of the supervisor team. He grew up in Leeds, England, and is currently living in Durham studying Mathematics at Durham University. Thomas loves football, music, food and games and loves to get involved in any activities that are taking place around him!

Alexa Richstone
Head of Pathfinder Girls

Going into her 10th summer at camp, Alexa is beyond excited to return to CBB. She was born and raised in Montreal and is currently attending McGill University, working towards her Bachelors in Occupational Therapy. She is looking forward to becoming best friends with all her PC campers and can’t wait to share her spirit for camp with all of them.

Zack Stevens
Head of Pathfinder Boys

Zack is originally from Ottawa, but now lives in Florida. Pursuing a double major in Marketing and Business Analytics, he currently attends the University of Miami (and yes, he has met Alix Earle.) Zack is going into his 13th summer and he can’t wait to make memories with the PCs this summer!

Hannah Cooper
Head of CITs

This is Hannah’s first time at camp CBB, and she is coming all the way from Newcastle, England! Hannah has previously been a camp counsellor for Senior Girls and a lifeguard on a camp in the US. Hannah is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Events and Business Management. She is most excited to meet the campers, make new friends and have lots of fun this summer!

SPECIALTY HEADS

Tali Nashen
Medical Intern

Nathalie, aka Tali, is super pumped to be back at CBB for her 15th summer! Born and raised in Montreal, Tali will be entering her second year of medical school at the University of Montreal in the fall, and hopes to one day become the camp doctor! Tali is very excited to combine her passions for camp and medicine this summer!

Molly Tanner
Co-Head of Waterfront

When not at camp, Molly is pursuing a Psychology, Social Entrepreneurship, and Behavioural Science degree at McGill University. She is excited to return to CBB for her 13th summer! After spending two summers as a ski staff and one summer as Assistant Head of Waterfront, she’s ready to run the most fabulous beach program and ensure campers have the best time!

Jonah Sohmer
Co-Head of Waterfront

Jonah is returning for his 12th summer at CBB! Jonah has worked at the beach for 3 years, twice as a waterski staff and most recently as Head of Sail. Jonah is currently 3/4 of the way through his Aerospace Engineering degree at Carleton University, and is looking to help make this summer the best one yet!

Jac Lisbona
Head of Ski

Jacqueline, also known as Jac, was born and raised in Montreal and is currently in her second year at Concordia University, studying Journalism. This marks her 12th summer at camp, and she's super excited to be back at her favorite spot: the beach!

Andrea Goldstein
Head of Dance

Andrea is super excited to return to camp for her 12th summer at CBB! Andrea was raised in Toronto but is currently living in Montreal, studying Psychology at McGill University. Andrea is thrilled about getting to spend another summer at CBB and is ready for the sun, general swim, dancing, and bonding with staff and campers! #CBB5ever

Fin Chambers
Head of Land Sports

Fin is from Leeds in the UK and is currently studying Media & Communications at Liverpool University. This will be Fin’s first time in Canada and his first time in camp, and he is eager to share his passion for all sports and the knowledge and skills he has built up through having worked and played for a number of land sports teams in the UK! Laura McEwan - Head of Fitness Laura is all the way from a regional coastal town in Western Australia and is super excited to join the CBB team for the first time! She graduated from the University of WA last year with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Science, Exercise & Health. Laura can’t wait to share her knowledge, experiences, and passion for health and fitness with the campers!

Laura McEwan
Head of Fitness

Laura is all the way from a regional coastal town in Western Australia and is super excited to join the CBB team for the first time! She graduated from the University of WA last year with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Science, Exercise & Health. Laura can’t wait to share her knowledge, experiences, and passion for health and fitness with the campers!

Adam Carleton
Head of Tennis

Adam is from Ireland and is currently studying Economics and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Limerick in the South of Ireland. Adam has played tennis competitively for the last 13 years, as well as coaching kids in his local club in Cork. This will be Adam's very first summer at CBB and he is excited to have fun and teach some tennis in a new part of the world.

Laurel Mitchell
Head of Drama

Laurel Mitchell is a dedicated theatre practitioner and proud Kiwi. She has a double degree majoring in Theatre and Classical Studies and has worked in children's theatre for the last 4 years! She is looking forward to having fun on the opposite side of the world, helping young people feel their most confident!

Matt Boorer
Co-Head of Media

Matt is from Plymouth, UK, and probably spends more time outdoors than indoors. If he’s not running, climbing, or longboarding, you’ll find him sea swimming, always the first one in the water—even if it's freezing! Matt brings a burst of energy and a zest for trying new things wherever he goes. It’s his first year at camp and he can’t wait to meet everyone and have the best summer!

James Barnes
Co-Head of Media

James previously worked at a summer camp in Scotland, and is very excited to be coming from the UK for his first summer with CBB! With over 10 years experience using a camera and a burning passion for creating media content, he is ready to see what camp has in store this summer and is very excited to see a new part of the world and to meet lots of fantastic people along the way!

Thea Wormald
Head of Arts and Crafts

This will be Thea’s first time at CBB, and her first time in Canada! She is from Leeds in England, and will be graduating from University this summer with a Degree in Fine Art. She can't wait to spend the summer with the campers and helping them make some amazing art, crafts, and textile creations!

Amir Nakar
Head of Music

This is Amir’s first summer at camp. He lives in Tel Aviv, Israel and he has been making music over there ever since he finished his army service. Amir is super excited to fill our summer with the best songs and a lot more music for everyone at camp.

Michal Savion
Co-Head of Israeli Culture

Michal lives in Israel, and cannot wait to be our Co-Head of Israeli Culture this summer! In the army Michal served as a Social Worker and Human Resource Officer. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Michal can’t wait to creatively explore Jewish and Israeli culture together while having great fun spending my first summer with the amazing campers and staff at CBB!

Shahar Gavriel
Co-Head of Israeli Culture

Shahar is so excited to be coming to CBB this summer! Although it is his first time at our camp, it is not his first time at a camp. Shahar took part in summer camps in youth movements over the years, was the Head of Logistics in NFTY Israel for a while, and in summer ‘22 he taught Hebrew at camp Osrui in Wisconsin which was super fun! Shahar can't wait for Shabbat dancing after Friday dinner!
