What is a Camp Champ?

A Camp Champ promotes our camp by sharing experiences and love of camp with other children and families in their community (ie. synagogue, school, neighborhood, family friends).

Camp Champs act as a connection between CBB and the greater Jewish Community. They do this by creating personal connections with current and potential camp families. The goal is to keep current CBB families engaged, and encouraging new families to join CBB for future summers.

What does a Camp Champ do?

Does being a Camp Champ sound like something you might be interested in doing? Here are some of the responsibilities that you might be tasked with:

  • Share social media posts: We help guide you in sharing/posting our social media posts with your own additional personal impact statements! Whether it’s instagram, Tik Tok, or Facebook, or another platform, IG, Facebook, you’ll be helping us get the word out about our amazing home away from home.
  • Host an open house: We could always use local spaces to host an event to introduce new families to CBB, bring current CBB families together, or both! You provide the backyard, and we will take care of the rest!
  • Volunteer at events: As a camp community, we really value the importance of giving back and believe we can make a difference in the world. We want all campers and stuff to understand this, and as a Camp Champ, you can lead by example. This might include something like volunteering for a kosher food drive (or even creating one yourself)
  • Help with community initiatives: Assist us or take the lead in organizing a great community initiative or simply help with execution. Our collective goal is to grow our newest initiative – CBB Steps Up! & Gives Back.

How do I become a Camp Champ?

If you want to learn more about this and get involved, then we want to hear from you! Whether you are a current camper, parent of a current camper, a future camp family, or a lifelong camper at heart (alumni), we would love to have you as a Camp Champ!
