Pool/
Waterfront

Pool or beach – what’s your preference? Luckily, CBBers get to enjoy both!! Between these two sparkling bodies of water, campers are given the perfect mix of certified instruction and pure entertainment. Swim lessons and General Swim keep everyone cool in our Olympic sized swimming pool. And at the beach, the list goes on and on: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing, stand up paddle boarding, hanging on our lily pad and also fishing!

Olympic-Sized Swimming Pool

CBB’s newly renovated Olympic sized L-shaped swimming pool is one of the most popular spots in camp. It is, quite literally, the community watering hole; the water cooler; got any more puns for us? The point is—it’s a place where the entire camp family comes together every day for an hour to cool down and chill out during General Swim. Kids love showing off their tricks on the diving board, climbing up the rock wall and jumping off into the water, or plunging into the shallow end on the slide. The pool is also where campers have daily swim lessons by certified instructors.

Beach

What would summer camp be without a sandy beach? The waterfront is one of the coolest places to be, whether it’s during the day for some watersports, or at night for a bonfire hang. CBB has a truly awesome watersports program run by passionate, skilled, and supportive staff. Whether it’s waterskiing, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, or another watersport, all kids are encouraged to try something new, and to not give up if they don’t get it right away!

Waterskiing/Wakeboarding/Tubing

We are so proud of our beautiful motorboats that are used around the clock, for those ‘early in the morning’ or ‘just before the sun sets’ ski enthusiasts. There is nothing more rewarding to our qualified ski staff than seeing our campers go from first-timers to skiing or wakeboarding around the river like absolute pros. And if skiing is not your child’s thing, there’s nothing like wakesurfing, or a fun tube ride to put a smile on their face! Even just a ride in the boat is enough of an adrenaline rush for some!

Sailing/Windsurfing

Sail the seven seas! Or… the beautiful shores of the Ottawa River. Campers love learning how to sail or practicing their existing skills on our amazing assortment of Laser Pico sailboats and our four new Hobie Catamarans. Our sailing staff provide great fun and training to beginners, pros, and everyone in between, and safety always comes first.

Canoe / Kayak / SUP

A summer camp classic! CBB has a gorgeous selection of canoes and kayaks and our experienced, passionate staff teach every camper about parts of the paddle, canoe, the various all-important strokes, and how to handle their canoe/kayak and properly paddle. Campers in Senior Camp can put their skills to the test on single and multi-day canoe trips away from camp.

Fishing

We’re so proud of out brand new fishing dock! We have a professional fishing guide who comes to our waterfront almost every day to teach campers the basics of fishing—tying hooks, baiting, casting, safely catching and releasing, and more.
